Arsenal have intensified their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen’s versatile centre-back Piero Hincapié as the transfer window nears its close.
The 23-year-old Ecuadorian, is reportedly open to a Premier League move. Arsenal are keen to secure the defender, who has a €60-65 million (£51-55 million) release clause, though they aim to negotiate a lower fee, possibly tied to outgoings like Jakub Kiwior.
